Rosatom expecting new NPP construction projects abroad after talks at SPIEF - Rosatom head

MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - Rosatom is planning to hold talks within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the results of which could see the company working on new projects to build nuclear power plants abroad, head of Rosatom Alexei Likhachev said in an interview with the RBC television channel.

"We'll have newcomers showing up as a result of talks at SPIEF, putting up nuclear stations where they are," Likhachev said.

Rosatom also expects a record amount of first concrete to be poured, starting the construction of NPPs in various countries, he said.
