Rivne NPP creating conditions for businesses' relocation to its facilities - general director

MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - The Rivne Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) has invited Ukrainian entrepreneurs from other regions of the country who have to look for new locations for their businesses to consider relocating them to the facilities and territories of the Rivne NPP, Ukrainian media outlets quoted the nuclear power plant's general director Pavlo Pavlyshyn as saying.

"We are holding active negotiations today with several entrepreneurs, and I hope we will soon have a number of new enterprises that will develop their business, which they were engaged in previously, at our facilities and in our territories," Pavlyshyn said in a video address published by the Energoatom national nuclear operator of Ukraine on its Telegram channel on Thursday.

Pavlyshyn called on businesspeople who may potentially relocate their enterprises to the Rivne NPP's facilities to follow information on the website of the Rivne region's military administration, which has been publishing such initiatives for the region, including for the Rivne NPP, which is Energoatom's stand-alone division.

Energoatom is the operator of all four functioning NPPs in Ukraine. The company operates 15 power units equipped with hydropower reactors with total installed electrical capacity of 13,835 GW.
