Avtovaz resumes manufacturing Granta models

SAMARA. June 8 (Interfax) - Avtovaz has resumed manufacturing cars, with the first Lada Granta Classic 2022 models of the year having rolled off the assembly line, the automaker's press service reported.

Avtovaz noted that the Lada Granta Classic 2022 as assembled would be the most affordable new passenger car on the Russian market.

The model was developed "in order to ensure the maximum possible localization of the car, eliminating the impact of a shortage in imported components," the automaker said.
