Aeroflot, UAC to sign agreement for delivery of 300 aircraft - paper

MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - Aeroflot and United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) , a division of state corporation Rostec, plan to sign a framework agreement for the delivery of 300 aircraft, business daily Vedomosti said on Wednesday, citing two sources familiar with the airline's plans.

The order will be for Sukhoi SuperJet 100 and MC-21 and Tu-214 airliners, one of the sources said. The paper did not report the exact number and delivery timetable.

The agreement is expected to be signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held in mid-June.

Aeroflot has not yet responded to questions from Interfax. A spokesman for UAC neither confirmed nor denied the reported plans to sign an agreement. "We are constantly working in close contact with our biggest partner, Aeroflot Group, both on the implementation of current and on prospective agreements," he said.
