MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - Alexander Vedyakhin, first deputy CEO of Sberbank , could replace Bella Zlatkis, a deputy CEO, on the bank's supervisory board, the bank said in information for its annual shareholders meeting.

Zlatkis has worked at Sberbank for 18 years. The United States added her and seven other Sberbank executives to its SDN List in May.

Professor Alexander Auzan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University; Irina Shitkina, Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurial Law of the Law Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University; and Alevtina Chernikova, Rector of the National University of Science and Technology MISIS, could also be elected to the board.

They might replace three independent board members who resigned soon after Russia's military operation in Ukraine began: former Finnish Prime Minister and senior advisor at the East Office of Finnish Industries Esko Aho; independent investment consultant Nadya Wells; and ESG investment director Natalie Braginsky Mounier.
