KfW transfers Eur150 mln loan to Ukraine - Finance Ministry

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - The German state-owned investment and development bank KfW transferred Eur150 million to the Ukrainian budget on Friday as a 15-year loan with a five-year grace period, Ukrainian mass media said on Friday with the reference to the Ukrainian Finance Ministry.

"Yet another loan from the investment and development bank (KfW) has been transferred to the Ukrainian budget in the amount of Eur150 million. The loan co-funds the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development's additional financing of development policy loan in the economic emergency," the ministry said.

The loan will finance social expenses in the fields of education and healthcare, the ministry said.
