Shmyhal urges int'l companies to resume operations in Ukraine

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has urged international companies to resume operations in Ukraine.

"I am asking all international companies that used to work on Ukraine to resume their operations now, as the majority of Ukrainian enterprises have done in safe regions. The government will give us the utmost assistance," Ukrainian mass media quoted Shmyhal as saying at a government meeting on Friday.

Suspended operations in Ukraine are sanctions against the national economy, he said.

"Your return will be a manifestation of real solidarity with the people of Ukraine," Shmyhal said.
