Rusagro principal shareholder Moshkovich divests stake in startup Assistagro

MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - The principal shareholder of Russian agribusiness group Rusagro , Vadim Moshkovich has divested his stake in Assistagro, the startup he founded on a 50-50 basis last year with former Rusagro CEO and current SUEK head Maxim Basov.

The new co-owner of Assistagro is Yulia Tribunskaya, data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities show. She also owns the company Valovaya 37, which leases and manages real estate and is registered at the same address as Assistagro.

Assistagro was set up in February 2021 to develop technology to manage crop farming and market this technology. It is focused on three areas: remote diagnostics of field crops using neural networks, a recommendation system with scenario analysis of crop yields and profitability, and robotization.

The founders of the company increased its charter capital by more than 12 times to 121.402 million rubles in May from the previous 10 million rubles. It was reported earlier that the shareholders planned to invest more than 1 billion rubles in Assistagro, which is a resident of Skolkovo and has the status of an IT company.
