Kantor transfers 16% of Acron shares to trust management of company owned by board chairman Popov

MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - Acron Group, whose beneficiary is Vyacheslav Kantor, has transferred 16% of the voting shares in PJSC Acron to the trust management of JSC Greenfert, the share issuer said in a statement.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Veliky Novgorod-based Greenfert is owned by Alexander Popov, who chairs Acron's board of directors.

Acron Group's stake in PJSC Acron has reduced to a non-controlling 44.6% of the voting shares and 40.5% of the charter capital. Popov's stake has risen to 16.1%

Kantor remains Acron's main beneficiary, controlling part of the stake via Luxembourg-based Redbrick Investment S.a.r.l., at 30.98% of the charter capital. The company's free float is 4.7%, and 9.3% of the shares are treasury, which are non-voting, with the matter on redeeming them to be discussed at the upcoming annual general shareholders' meeting on June 30.

The UK and European Union included Kantor in their respective sanctions lists in April.
