Swiss regulator extends moratorium on Sberbank (Switzerland) AG to Aug 2

MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - Switzerland's Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has extended protective measures at Sberbank (Switzerland) AG until August 2, 2022 due to the tightening of sanctions and ongoing liquidity risks for the bank, the regulator said.

The protective measures the regulator imposed at Sberbank (Switzerland) in early March imposed a ban on payments and transactions, and deferral of the bank's obligations on deposits.
