Ukrainian govt lifts restriction on temporary stay for foreign media members during martial law

MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has lifted the restrictions on the temporary stay for foreign citizens working as correspondents or representatives of foreign media outlets while martial law remains in effect.

The government made this decision at its meeting on Friday, Ukrainian media reported with reference to Taras Melnychuk, the government's representative at the Verkhovna Rada.

In particular, while martial law remains in effect and within 30 days after its expiration or termination, the decision lifts the restriction on the duration of temporary stay in Ukraine for foreigners and people without citizenship who have arrived to work as correspondents or representatives of foreign media outlets and who have received accreditation during the effect of martial law in line with the established procedure.
