SOCHI. May 27 (Interfax) - International trader Viterra, formerly Glencore Agriculture, is continuing operations on the Russian grain market, the head of the Russian office, Nikolai Demyanov, said on Friday at the All-Russia Grain Forum in Sochi.

"Despite the current situation, our company is continuing to operate in Russia, and we are shipping to different countries worldwide. One of our main priorities is global food security," the head of the Canadian grain processing facility said.

Demyanov recalled that the Canadian company has been operating on the Russian market for 18 years, and is one of the five largest grain exporters.
