Pashinyan tells Russian ambassador about importance of OSCE Minsk Group for Karabakh settlement

YEREVAN. May 27 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian Ambassador in Yerevan Sergei Kopyrkin discussed Armenian-Russian relations and the Karabakh settlement process at a meeting on Friday.

"Pashinyan described the Armenian-Russian relations as dynamic and said the Russian embassy had made a great contribution to that. There are close relations between partners from both countries, which is important for giving a fresh impetus to the interaction," the Armenian government's press service said.

He also affirmed the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group format for settling the Karabakh problem.

In turn, Kopyrkin said that everything was being done to promote further development of allied relations.
