BISHKEK. May 26 (Interfax) - Russia needs to overcome the hindrances created by sanctions and to develop trade relations in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin said.

"The sanctions imposed on Russia and our friends and partners worldwide need to be overcome. We are ready to offer preferences to our partners," Pankin said at the First Eurasian Economic Forum in Bishkek on Thursday.

"Our countries have a huge unlocked potential in the fields of land, human resources and innovations. We are open to the world and are ready to develop trade and to broaden cooperation on the basis of equality and transparency," he said.

"We are not closing the doors to anyone," Pankin said.
