Kyrgyzstan resuming int'l railway travel to Russia on June 6

BISHKEK. May 25 (Interfax) - Kyrgyzstan and Russia will resume railway travel on June 6, Kyrgyz Temir Zholy, or Kyrgyz Railways, reported.

"International passenger trains of Kyrgyz Railways are resuming travel along the Bishkek-Kazan route on June 6 and along the Bishkek-Samara route on June 8," according to Kyrgyz Railways' website.

Railway travel along the Bishkek-Novosibirsk route is scheduled to resume on June 9, the company said.

International passenger train service between the two countries was suspended in March 2020 owing to the spread of Covid-19.
