Russian ministry to launch platform by year's end for clients to get cloud solutions without tenders

MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - Russia's Digital Development Ministry is developing a unified platform that will enable customers to get cloud solutions without tenders and plans to launch it by the end of the year, Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev said.

"We want to provide access to cloud solutions for the government in general. Those companies that bring their solutions there will get access to government contracts without tenders. We will launch this before the end of the year," Shadayev said at a strategic session at Startup Village in Skolkovo on Wednesday.

He recalled that Russia now has the unified state cloud platform Gosobloko, one of the services of GosTekh. In terms of Gosobloko solutions, "we are taken care of for three years," Shadayev said.
