Ukraine receives Eur79.5 mln loan from IBRD for priority social spending - Finance Ministry

KYIV. May 25 (Interfax) - Ukraine has received another loan tranche from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in the amount of Eur79.5 million; the funds were provided by the Netherlands within the framework of the supplementary loan for the second loan for development policy in the field of economic recovery agreement.

The Finance Ministry said in a statement on its website on Tuesday that the tranche would finance social and humanitarian expenditures.

The agreement envisages a loan to support priority social and healthcare expenditures of the budget, the statement said.
