Naftogaz replaces Ukrtransnafta's general director

KYIV. May 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has agreed to the decision of the executive board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine on dismissing Mykola Gavrylenko, general director of JSC Ukrtransnafta, who has headed the company since the end of 2015.

According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers, dated May 23, 2022, which has been posted on the government's portal, Volodymyr Tsependa, who has experience in procurement and capital construction at JSC Ukrtransgaz, has been appointed Ukrtransnafta's new general director.

According to information of some Ukrainian media, the reason for the dismissal was that Gavrylenko had not ensured the reverse of petroleum products from Hungary.

Ukrtransnafta's 4,767-km main pipeline system passes through 19 regions of the country, and it has input capacity of 114 million tonnes and output capacity of 56.3 million tonnes per year.
