Portugal to provide up to 250 mln euro financial assistance to Ukraine

KYIV. May 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Portugal will provide up to 250 million euro financial assistance to Ukraine, consistent with a memorandum signed by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and his Portuguese counterpart Antonio Costa in Kyiv on Saturday.

"Ukraine is due to receive the first tranche of up to 100 million euros as early as this year," Shmyhal said on Telegram, adding that would help Ukraine maintain macro-economic stability.
