Russian, Malian FMs discuss deliveries of wheat, petroleum products to Mali

MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that he and Foreign Minister of Mali Abdoulaye Diop have discussed deliveries of wheat and petroleum products to Mali.

"We paid special attention to the practical aspects of organizing deliveries from Russia of wheat, mineral fertilizers and petroleum products that are so much needed by the people of Mali today in conditions of illegitimate Western sanctions," Lavrov said at a press conference after talks with Diop in Moscow.

The sound pace of military and military-technical contacts between the two countries was also noted during the talks, he said.
