Former TAIF chief Ruslan Shigabutdinov leaves SIBUR

KAZAN. May 18 (Interfax) - Ruslan Shigabutdinov, the former head of TAIF Group, has left SIBUR, the oil and gas chemical company's press service told Interfax.

"Ruslan Shigabutdinov, who was a member of SIBUR's Management Board and CEO of SIBUR-RT JSC [TAIF JSC until April 2022], is leaving these positions by joint agreement with SIBUR's management due to the completion of the main block of organizational changes as part of the creation of the merged company," a spokesperson for the company said.

SIBUR's Director for Corporate Policy, Yulia Popova, has been in charge of the administration of the enterprises in Tatarstan since Wednesday, the spokesperson said.

"Since May 18, SIBUR-RT has been headed by Yulia Popova, SIBUR's Corporate Policy Director. This decision is a part of the general action plan to form a united company and is associated, among other things, with narrowing the range of SIBUR-RT's tasks, a significant part of which has been reduced to the administration of shareholder management of enterprises in Tatarstan to date," they said.

In October 2021, SIBUR bought JSC TAIF together with the Tatarstan-based chemical companies owned by it - PJSC Kazanorgsintez , PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim and the power company JSC TGK-16.
