Taxi hailing service Gett to stop working in Russia June 1

MOSCOW. May 17 (Interfax) - Gett will stop supporting its mobile app for drivers in Russia as of June 1, the taxi hailing service said in a notice sent to drivers.

The mobile app will be operational until May 31, inclusive, after which drivers will not be able to receive orders for rides.

The Gett team will fulfil all obligations on rides made before the end of the month, the company said.

Gett announced in March that it planned to leave the Russian ride haling and delivery market. Russia generated about 17% of the company's gross profit.
