McFaul, Patrone, Miklos join consultative council at National Council for Reconstruction of Ukraine

KYIV. May 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) - A consultative council made up of world-renowned economic experts, among them Professor of International Studies at the Stanford University Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law Michael McFaul, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Matteo Patrone and former Slovak Finance Minister Ivan Miklos, has been established at the National Council for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.

Other members of the consultative council are University of California, Berkeley, Professor of Economics Yury Gorodnichenko, Kyiv School of Economics President Tymofiy Mylovanov, Stanford University Professor Francis Fukuyama, World Bank Regional Country Director for Eastern Europe Arup Banerji, Ukraine's Deputy Executive Director to the International Monetary Fund Vladyslav Rashkovan, and JSC Naftogaz of Ukraine CEO Yuriy Vitrenko, Ukrainian MP Danylo Hetmantsev said on Telegram.

"News no.2 is that the activities of the National Council will be backed by a company from the world's top three strategic consulting companies," Hetmantsev said.
