VimpelCom intends to spin off Kazakh business into a separate legal entity VEON KAZ

MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax) - PJSC VimpelCom plans to reorganize its Kazakh business into a separate legal entity, VEON KAZ LLC, the telecoms company said in a statement.

The corresponding matter has been submitted for consideration at the upcoming extraordinary general shareholders' to be held in absentia, with voting ballots being accepted until June 20, 2022, and shareholders registered by May 22, 2022, inclusive, being permitted to participate in the meeting.

VimpelCom reorganized last year by spinning off VEON UZB LLC into a separate legal entity.
