FM Kuleba calls on states to decide what guarantees they are ready to give Ukraine

KYIV. April 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on foreign countries to decide what security guarantees they are ready to provide to Ukraine.

"Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons for the sake of world peace. We have then been knocking on NATO's door, but it never opened. The world owes Ukraine security and we ask states to decide which security guarantees they are ready to provide," Kuleba said on Twitter.

International security guarantees for Ukraine are among the key issues on the agenda of talks between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations, which have been meeting by video link following the Istanbul round.
