Kolomensky Bakery cleared to buy Fazer's Russian subsidiary

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) -The Federal Anti-monopoly Service has cleared Kolomensky Bakery and Confectionary Plant to buy 100% of LLC Khlebny Dom, formerly LLC Fazer.

The FAS said the acquisition would not restrict competition in the Russian market for baked products.

Finland's Fazer in March announced the termination of operations in Russia owing to the situation in Ukraine. LLC Fazer was later re-named LLC Khlebny Dom.
