Ukrainian infrastructure sustains almost $90-bln damage, Infrastructure Ministry set to rebuild on ruins in 1-2 years

KYIV. April 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry is set to rebuild the ruined infrastructure within a year or two, Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

The damage done to railroad, highway, bridge and other infrastructure by the latest events nears $90 billion, the Ukrainian Presidential Office quoted Kubrakov as saying.

In addition, the meeting addressed the accommodation of displaced persons and the reconstruction of damaged buildings.
