Five Ukrainian research centers, university on CWUR Global 2000 list - minister

KYIV. April 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Five Ukrainian research centers and one university have been added to the Global 2000 list of the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), Ukrainian Education and Science Minister Serhiy Shkarlet said.

"The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) has published a list of establishments for 2022-2023. There are almost 20,000 establishments in the ranking, and the best are included in the Global 2000 list. I am happy to say that five potent Ukrainian research centers and one university have found themselves on the list of the world's best," Shkarlet said on Telegram.

These are the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology (1120) and the Institute of Scintillation Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1898), which is actively participating in major international high-energy physics projects in the United States, Japan and Europe.

The rating also includes the Nuclear Research Institute (1709), the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics (1740), the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics (1899) and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (1472).

"We can be proud. We are confidently proving our global competitiveness, and scientific achievements made the country strong in all areas," Shkarlet said.
