Three Norwegian diplomats declared personae non gratae in Russia - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - Russia has declared three Norwegian diplomats personae non gratae in retaliation to an identical move made earlier by Norway, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

Norwegian Ambassador to Russia Rune Resaland was summoned to the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday to be presented with a strong protest over Norway's decision to expel employees of the Russian embassy in Oslo, the ministry said.

"The ambassador was presented with a note on declaring three diplomats from the Norwegian embassy in Moscow personae non gratae based on the reciprocity principle," it said.
