Over 24,000 Ukrainian refugees have crossed into Belarus from EU since Feb 24

MINSK. April 27 (Interfax) - A total of 141 Ukrainian citizens arrived in Belarus over the past day, and more than 24,000 people since February 24, when the Russian special operation began, the Belarusian State Border Committee said on Wednesday.

A total of 141 Ukrainian citizens entered Belarus from 6:00 a.m. on April 26 to 6:00 a.m. on April 27, the State Border Committee said.

"The majority of Ukrainian citizens are still arriving in Belarus by transiting countries of the European Union," it said. Only three people crossed directly from the territory of Ukraine, it said.

The State Border Committee put the overall number of Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in Belarus since February 24 at 24,200.
