Moldova's gas trunk lines working normally - Moldovagaz

CHISINAU. April 26 (Interfax) - The recent explosions in Transdniestria have not affected Moldova's gas transmission system which continues operating normally, Moldovagaz' chief executive Vadim Ceban said on Telegram on Tuesday.

"The gas transmission system of the Republic of Moldova continues working normally. The zone of servicing the main gas pipelines through the trans-Balkan corridor is under the constant monitoring of Moldovagaz and Tiraspoltransgaz specialists," Ceban said.

This morning the broadcasting center in Transdniestria was rocked by two explosions, which damaged antennas which transmit radio signals on air. There were also reports of an explosion at a military base near an aerodrome in Tiraspol. Yesterday there were several explosions inside the building of the state security ministry of the republic. It was established that gunfire had come from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher. Neither case left anyone injured.
