Supply chain management co UPS suspends operations in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine

MINSK. April 26 (Interfax) - The United Parcel Service , better known as UPS, the world's largest express delivery service, has suspended its operations in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, UPS said in a statement on its website.

"UPS continues to closely monitor the situation," the statement said.

UPS operates in more than 220 countries. It carries out deliveries using over 570 of its own, rented, and charter planes, completing around 2,300 flights a day. It has more than 540,000 employees worldwide.
