Coca-Cola to provide $15-mln aid to Ukraine - report

KYIV. April 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Coca-Cola Company, The Coca-Cola Foundation, and its global bottling partners will provide Ukraine with aid totaling about $15 million, which includes contributions and product donations, the company said in a report on the Q1 2022 results.

"This funding will support further relief efforts by the Red Cross and other organizations operating in Ukraine and neighboring countries, helping millions of displaced people," Coca-Cola said.

The company is also providing urgent financial assistance to all Ukraine-based system employees, it said.

The Coca-Cola Company said on February 24 it was suspending the operations of its production facility in Kyiv and evacuating its employees. The company's official bottler in Ukraine, Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine, previously produced a large variety of soft drinks, including sparkling soft drinks, juices, water, energy drinks, and cold teas.
