Transdniestrian Security Council declares red terrorism alert

TIRASPOL. April 26 (Interfax) - The Transdniestrian Security Council declared a red terrorism alert level at an urgent meeting on Tuesday.

Transdniestrian President Vadim Krasnoselsky convened the urgent meeting in the wake of a grenade launcher attack on the edifice of the Transdniestrian State Security Council in Tiraspol and the explosions at the radio center in Mayak in the Grigoriopol district and a military unit stationed in the village of Parcani in the Slobozia district.

A respective executive order of the Transdniestrian president will be issued shortly.
