Putin to receive UN Secretary-General Guterres who is to arrive in Moscow for talks with Lavrov - Peskov

MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who is to arrive in Moscow on April 26 for negotiations with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will arrive in Moscow on Tuesday, April 26, for negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. He will also be received by Russian President Vladimir Putin," he said.

Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric said on Wednesday that Guterres asked to be received by Putin in Moscow.

Guterres wishes to discuss urgent measures for establishing peace in Ukraine and the future of multilateral relations with the two presidents, Dujarric said.
