France brings 2nd batch of firefighting equipment to Ukraine - ambassador

KYIV. April 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) - France has delivered the second convoy of fire trucks and 50 tonnes of equipment to Ukraine, French Ambassador to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins said.

"Glad to officially hand over to the Ukrainian authorities the 2nd convoy of fire trucks and 50 tonnes of equipment. The solidarity of France and its local communities is in action. We admire the dedication and courage of the firefighters of Ukraine. Now they will be equipped better," de Poncins said on Twitter on Friday.

According to the French Foreign Ministry, the convoy consists of 24 fire trucks and 50 tonnes of equipment.
