Chubais leaves boards of Sistema, Elektrozavod
MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - Anatoly Chubais has resigned from the board of directors of Sistema PJSFC , the Russian investment group told Interfax.
Chubais has also stepped down from the board of directors of JSC Elektrozavod, which is owned by Megapolis Invest LLC, a joint venture between Sistema and Sberbank .
Chubais joined the board of Sistema in June 2020 and Elektrozavod's board in March 2021.
President Vladimir Putin signed an order on March 25 to dismiss Chubais from his position as presidential envoy for relations with international organizations on sustainable development. A few days prior to this, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that Chubais had left Russia because of his opposition to Russia's military operation in Ukraine.
Chubais previously served as CEO of state company Rusnano, which he joined after the liquidation of Unified Energy System of Russia.
