Rada extends martial law in Ukraine until May 25
KYIV. April 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has extended the effect of martial law in Ukraine for another 30 days, i.e. until May 25, 2022, Yaroslav Zheleznyak of the Holos parliamentary faction said.
"The parliament gathered again today. Voted on a number of important decisions," Zheleznyak wrote on Telegram on Thursday.
Martial law in Ukraine has been extended by virtue of bill No. 7300 titled On Endorsing Presidential Decree on the Extension of the Effect of Martial Law in Ukraine, which was supported by 300 parliamentarians.

The decree imposed martial law from 5:30 a.m. February 24, 2022 for 30 days. On March 15, the Rada voted for a 30-day extension from 05:30 a.m. March 26 through April 24.
