Russian govt particularly focused on operations of foreign companies in Russia - Kremlin

MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - There can be no generalized approach to the possible nationalization of foreign companies leaving Russia, and each particular case is a subject of the Russian government's special attention, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"There can hardly be some general approach here, because the companies are behaving in different ways. Some companies are suspending their operations while continuing to fulfill all of their obligations to their employees in line with our legislation, while in some instances obligations to the employees have not been fulfilled, which requires special attention," Peskov told journalists.

In any case, "each particular episode is a subject of our government's special attention," and "our supervising ministries are handling this," Peskov said.
