Four evacuation buses left Mariupol on April 20, humanitarian corridor may open in Kherson region on April 21 - Ukrainian deputy PM

KYIV. April 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Four evacuation buses left Mariupol on Wednesday, April 20, spent the night in Berdyansk and are now on their way to Zaporizhzhya, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk said.

"As regards Mariupol, four evacuation buses managed to exit the city via yesterday's humanitarian corridor. They spent the night in Berdyansk and are now heading to Vasylivka. We expect them to arrive in Zaporizhzhya soon," Vereshchuk said on Telegram on Thursday morning.

On Thursday, the Ukrainian side will try to secure a humanitarian corridor from the Kherson region, she said.

"I am speaking about three populated localities: Vysokopillia, the village of Novovoznesenske and the village of Myrolyubivka," Vereshchuk said.
