Ukraine to study Moscow's proposals, to draw conclusions - Kyiv

KYIV. April 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine has received Russian proposals at the negotiations and is studying them, advisor to the head of Ukrainian presidential office Mykhailo Podolyak said in a commentary on Wednesday.

"Ukraine handed over its proposals on the provisions to the opponents back at the Istanbul round [of talks]. In particular, this concerns security guarantees to prevent attacks on our country from happening in the future. The Russian side has studied the proposals and has presented its stance. Now it's our turn to study, compare and draw conclusions, both political and legal," Podolyak said.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday that a draft document with clear wording had been presented to Ukraine.
