No response from Kremlin to Medvedchuk's appeal to be swapped for people in Mariupol - Peskov

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - There has been no response from the Kremlin to an appeal to the Russian and Ukrainian presidents from Ukrainian parliamentarian Viktor Medvedchuk, who has been detained by the Ukrainian Security Service, in which he proposed his swap for the people in Mariupol, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

Medvedchuk's appeal "has been seen, and there is no reaction [from the Kremlin] for the time being," Peskov told journalists on Tuesday, when asked about the Kremlin's possible response to Medvedchuk's appeal.
