Azerbaijan to lift Covid-19 PCR test requirement for incoming travelers from April 15

BAKU. April 14 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan will scrap a requirement from April 15 for incoming travelers to have negative PCR test results for Covid-19, a spokesperson for the Azerbaijani government told Interfax on Thursday.

The PCR test requirement on domestic flights will also be lifted on April 15, according to the government's decision.

Furthermore, the PCR test requirement has been cancelled for passengers of the Baku-Nakhichevan-Baku bus services that transit Iran.

Azerbaijan's land borders remain closed today. At the same time, the Azerbaijani authorities have gradually been lifting restrictions on air travel with individual countries.
