Russia's quota to export sunflower oil distributed among 54 companies - Agriculture Ministry

MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - The Russian government has distributed the quota for exporting sunflower oil among 54 companies, according to the Agriculture Ministry's order posted on its website.

Twenty-one companies have received quotas to export oilseed meal.

The government has given the largest shares in the quota to the country's leading exporters of sunflower oil, including EFKO with 239,700 tonnes, Aston with 178,700 tonnes, Rusagro with 137,400 tonnes, Cargill with 135,600 tonnes, and South of Russia with 133,100 tonnes.

Quotas were distributed according to the historical principle.

As previously reported, the quota for exporting sunflower oil will be 1.5 million tonnes, and the quota for exporting oilseed meal will be 700,000 tonnes, with the introduced quotas to be valid from April 15 to August 31, 2022.
