UK adds more than 200 individuals to Russia-related sanctions lists

LONDON. April 13 (Interfax) - The UK has added more than 200 individuals to its Russia-related sanctions lists.

They include Andrei Fursenko, an aide to the Russian president; Viktor Medvedchuk, former co-chairman of Ukraine's Opposition Platform - for Life Party; and the wife of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Also sanctioned are Russian business leaders Vagit Alekperov, Vladimir Yevtushenkov and Andrei Bokarev and other businessmen and senior executives Farhad Akhmedov, Musa Bazhaev, Said Kerimov, Grigory Berezkin, Yevgeny Zubitsky and Alexander Shulgin.

Their assets are frozen and they are banned from entering the UK.
