Sberbank's mobile app no longer available on App Store due to sanctions

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - The Sberbank Online mobile app has been unavailable for download and updates on the App Store for iOS devices since April 12 due to sanctions, Sberbank said on Telegram.

"Previously downloaded apps are working, and there are no restrictions on their use," Sberbank said.

Sberbank recommends that clients not delete mobile apps installed earlier.

Bank clients can also use the web version of Sberbank Online, which has been adapted for mobile devices, to carry out transactions, the bank said.

"Sber's systems and infrastructure are working as usual, and clients' funds are safe. Nonetheless, we ask clients to stay alert and only install Sber apps using links found on our official website," Sberbank said.

Sberbank said earlier that it had prepared solutions for mobile apps installed on telephones to continue functioning under harsh sanctions.
