Russia registers 10,910 new cases of Covid-19, 4,233 hospitalizations in past 24 hours - HQ

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 10,910 new cases of Covid-19, as well as 4,233 hospitalizations and 281 deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Tuesday.

"As of April 12, Russia recorded 10,910 new cases of Covid-19, while 4,233 patients have been hospitalized, up 204.5% from the day before," the headquarters said.

The number of hospitalizations has grown in 82 constituent territories of Russia, has declined in two, and has remained unchanged in one, the headquarters said. There were 1,390 hospitalized Covid-19 patients on Monday.

Another 281 patients have died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, as against 248 the day before.

Meanwhile, the daily morbidity has decreased by 945 cases from 11,855 reported on Monday.

"As many as 31,271 patients have recovered over the day, up 16.88% from April 11," the headquarters said.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 18,018,825 cases of Covid-19, including 372,245 deaths and 17,233,724 recoveries.
