Chernobyl NPP personnel rotated - Energoatom

KYIV. April 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian state nuclear power plant operator Energoatom has carried out the rotation of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant personnel using river transport.

"A company boat has delivered 49 employees to the Chernobyl NPP and collected 51 from it via the Prypyat River. There is no other route to bring people to the plant from Slavutych at the moment," Energoatom said on its Telegram channel on Saturday evening.

As was reported earlier, the first personnel rotation and evacuation of the employees from the plant after February 24 was conducted on March 20-21.

Thirteen Chernobyl NPP employees refused to be replaced, and most of Ukrainian security guards also chose to stay there.
