Twitter blocks RT's account - TV channel

MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - The Twitter account of the Russian television channel RT has been blocked.

"We will appeal the decision on the blocking," the TV channel said on its Russian-language Telegram channel.

According to a notification published on the Telegram channel, Twitter deemed RT's tweet about an interview with a captured Ukrainian serviceman a violation of its rules.

Twitter has been blocked in Russia since March 4 for failing to remove content banned in Russia.
