Every day costs Ukrainian budget UAH 2 bln, losses stand at $4 billion - PM Shmyhal
KYIV. April 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Every day costs the Ukrainian budget UAH 2 billion, while losses stand at $4 billion, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"There are two digits. How much any given day costs to the state budget, how much we pay, and how much we need. This is approximately UAH 2 billion, which is the price of the hostilities, salaries and so on. There are also other expenses, $4 billion losses incurred from any given day of damaged infrastructure, losses of the economic potential and the future GDP," Shmyhal said in a national TV marathon on Friday morning.
Ukraine also incurs losses from the 20% reduction in sowing and the impossibility to fully use its export potential, he said.
